Job Description

As an Associate Buyer at KDCI Outsourcing, you will play a vital role in supporting our client’s procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services necessary for our operations. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the procurement team to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Your attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our procurement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify purchasing needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Reach out to third party logistics warehouse managers who are looking for merchandise to buy.
  • Will be responsible for sending, monitoring, and managing emails or calls to the third-party logistics warehouse managers.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and gather pricing information.
  • Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
  • Support the procurement team in supplier performance evaluation and development of supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the procurement function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in MS excel and MS Outlook.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work hard and stay motivated without constant supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to company growth
  • Candidate must be willing to work on Hybrid and/or Temporary WFH arrangements.
  • Candidate must be willing to work on shifting work schedules.
  • Candidate must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig.
