Company Nurse, Occupational Health (On-site)

Job Description

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing medical care and first aid to employees at the worksite. This includes assessingand treating injuries, administering medication, and providing health education and advice.

The Company Nurse also works closelywith the company's Human Resources department to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and to coordinate employeemedical testing and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic health care, appropriate emergency, and first-aid management, and medications to employees.
• Responsible for assisting sick employees to the hospital when necessary and for dropping the employee home.
• Managing employees’ medical records and ensuring confidentiality.
• Coordinates with SSS, Philhealth, and HMO provider as needed.
• Participating in developing, maintenance, and implementation of Health and Safety Programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations related to employee health and safety.
• Arrange employee's transportation to medical facilities.
• Maintaining and inventory of medical supplies.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Must be a Registered Nurse
• Must have an OHNAP certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in occupational health or related field.
• Experience in providing medical care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Working experience as a company or hospital nurse is a plus.
• Good critical thinker, self-motivated, attentive to details, and good communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and employee health and safety best practices.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Must be amenable to work at any schedule
• Candidate must be willing to work on-site, in Ortigas Pasig.
