Facilities Manager (Part-time consultant)

KDCI Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time Facilities Manager to join our team as a consultant. The Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of our company's buildings and grounds, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing plans for the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems
• Managing budgets and resources for facilities maintenance and improvements
• Overseeing the upkeep of the company's grounds and exterior spaces
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Coordinating with contractors and vendors to schedule repairs and renovations
• Managing a team of maintenance and custodial staff, including setting goals and evaluating performance
• Responding to emergencies and ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to protect the safety of employees and visitors

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, facilities management, or business administration, is preferred, but optional.
• Strong understanding of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, and personnel management skills.
