Mobile Android Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Android Developer to join our team and help create cutting-edge mobile applications for our users, on a full-time, remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications for the Android platform, with a focus on creating high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Work with different teams to size accurately the projects supplied by the Systems Analyst and Lead developer.
• Manage product documentation and conduct first-level testing.
• Work with the support team to act as Level 2 support.
• Optimize the performance of the applications.
• Work with the Database team to ensure proper database management.
• Endorse application for production environment
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Requirements

• A degree in Computer science, Information technology, or any related field is a plus.
• 2-3 years of development in platform languages such as Java, Kotlin, React.js and knowledge in Swift 4 (is a plus)
• Working knowledge of Agile Methodology.
• Follows best practices of Source Management Control (Github and merge experience)
• Knowledge of the basic structure of the back-end.
• Experience working with device sizes and many other device setups.
• Willing to work on US time zone, starting 10pm MNL time
• Full time WFH setup
