Mobile Quality Assurance (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for highly driven, talented, and self-motivated Mobile Quality Assurance to join our world-class development team. The Mobile QA would need to be able to test complex software by working closely with the mobile development team. They would also work on the latest internet/software technology.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain test plans, test scripts, and automated test scripts per feature/specifications
• Ensure an efficient, automated test suite integrated into CI/CD pipeline
• Work closely with product owners, project managers, and the dev team to understand test requirements and produce test cases
• Gather, review, recreate, troubleshoot, and solve customer issues.
• Execute test cases (manual & automated) and analyze results
• File, track, and review software defects.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, bug review, release & deployment meetings
• Prepare, configure, manage and maintain various testing environments
• Able to code in Java to assist in converting manual tests to automation tests
• Work with the tech writer/documentation team to develop user/admin guides.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software and web application testing
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Webdriver, and other tech skills
• Understanding of software development life cycle is required
• Impressive portfolio showcasing your skills in web and graphic design, visual storytelling, and user-centered design.
• Knowledge of QA testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Good analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
• Good to have experience in non-functional testing such as performance, usability, reliability, etc.
• Must be able to manage priorities effectively, and work well as a part of a globally distributed team
• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Engineering or related discipline.
